Festival for quality Asian content for children in June

Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC) is a festival that brings together content creators and producers along with parents, teachers, librarians and anyone interested in quality Asian content for children around the world.

The Whiz Times had promoted this festival in 2013 and support this festival this year too, with the aim to provide the world’s children with quality Asian content for education and entertainment.

This event would make children aware of Asia’s unique environment and cultural values, promote understanding of, and love for, the literary and visual arts and lay the foundation for a good and all-round education.

The Festival aims to draw attention to the rich culture and tradition in Asia upon which content can be developed.

AFCC 2014 will be held from 30 May – 4 June 2013. India is the Country-of-Focus for 2014, with 10 featured speakers and resource persons who will showcase talents from across India, and their achievement in the field of children’s literature and content.

 The programme includes:

  • AFCC Teachers Congress
  • AFCC Parents Forum
  • AFCC Writers and Illustrators Conference
  • AFCC Media Summit
  • Masterclasses
  • Language Workshops (Chinese, Malay & Tamil)
  • Media Mart
  • Rights Fair
  • Book Illustrators Gallery
