A cafe with cats to play with! Ridiculous or fun?
Los Angeles, America. You go to a cafe for a nice smoothy with friends. As you are enjoying your smoothy, all of a sudden, you hear a purr and a meow. Wait! A purr and a meow? In a cafe? Yes, that's what we said. A new cat cafe has opened in Los Angeles! Don't believe it? Well, we've got pictures to prove :)A cat cafe is a a cafe (or a coffee shop, pronounced as'kaf-eh') where customers can not only get their drinks, but also interact with cats. Cat Cafes have pet cats that customers can come over and play with, or even adopt. This concept already exists in countries like Japan and is catching up fast all over the world. One reason why people like these cafes, could be the lack of living spaces. Many people live in smaller houses where they cannot keep pets. But they still love animals. For those people, Cat Cafes are perfect places. They can come in, play with the cats and enjoy :)A similar cafe had opened up in New York, America, earlier this year. Did you read the story on The Whiz Times? This cafe had rescued cats in the cafe- so cats got a loving home, and visitors got to play with the loving cats.
