Apple’s iPhone 6S has officially launched
Rejoice, Apple fans! The new iPhone is here.
The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus hit stores Friday, with Apple fans around the world camping out in line to become some of the first owners of the new devices. With customers eager to get their hands on the latest, Apple says that pre-order numbers have been "very strong around the world."

In Hong Kong, fans were out in force at Apple's massive store in Causeway Bay, one of the city's prime shopping districts. At the head of the line was Black Chan, who shelled out for two 6S phones: one with 64GB of storage, and a second with 128GB.

Said Chan, who would keep one phone for himself and try to resell the second for a profit,
“I am a big Apple fan, super Apple fan. I feel so happy and excited.”
In Singapore, a crowd of more than 80 people formed a 100 metre-long queue outside Causeway Point Shopping Centre in Woodlands as of 9pm on Thursday (September 24), in anticipation of the launch of the iPhone 6S on Friday - despite the worsening haze.

And at about 6.30am on Friday morning, more than 17 fans were seen queuing at Marina Bay Sands to buy the iPhone 6S from Singtel (a local telecommunications company), one and a half hours ahead of the launch. By 7.20am, the queue had grown to about 60 people.

Said a lady who was queuing for an iPhone for her sixth time and planned to get a 128GB iPhone 6S in rose gold,
“I think it’s better to queue before and get the phone first, than to queue after that when the queue gets longer.”
The new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus feature a different kind of touch screen that can sense how long and hard someone is pressing, a stronger aluminum body, faster and more efficient processor, higher resolution cameras, and a new GIF-like photo function.
