CRY, BABY, CRY!
Have you ever heard of a competition to make babies cry? No? Guess what! There is such a competition in Japan! A ‘baby-cry’ sumo competition was held on the 21st September 2014 in the Irugi Shrine in Tokyo, Japan. Sounds scary? Why do they have such a competition in the first place? This is because in Japan, parents believe that sumo wrestlers can help make babies cry out a wish to grow up with a good health. Their cries are said to be attempts to reach God and show how healthy these children are and hope that God will bless them to grow up healthy and strong.Cry out your wish!
