Fancy getting served dinner by robots? Head to the “Taste and Aroma” restaurant in Guiyang, Guizhou province, China. This restaurant had just unveiled its new robotic staff this week!

There are a total of 5 robots for serving. They look like they have stepped out from a futuristic film or came back from the future! These robots work for about 5 to 8 years. They understand 40 everyday sentences and can request for people to move out of its way. Their batteries need to be charged for 2 hours and this will last them through 5 hours of work.
Sadly there are important limitations to their use.
First and foremost, each robot costs a whopping $6,500!
The robots can only travel along fixed, pre-defined paths. They are also not able to respond to customers' queries or requests.
Children and even adults have fun with these robot waiters. Taking photographs with them seems to be an in-thing to do. Curious children touch them in awe.
