Marina Bay Sands already has a series of events lined up. It will be hosting "Road to Ultra", an electronic dance music event which will feature some of the top DJs from around the world. Rooftop bar and restaurant Ce La Vi is also set to welcome a host of international celebrities, like in previous years. The venue offers a magnificent bird's-eye view of the Marina Bay street circuit.

Said a manager with Ce La Vi,
"From afternoon till night, the people come here and party, and the adrenaline is so high. There are helicopters flying around, music going on, people are just enjoying themselves. They are really just all out to party and just be in tune with the Lion City and Singapore, and the F1 race. This spot here offers that whole view, that whole rush and energy. From here, you can see everything."
The Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore
Pan Pacific Singapore is getting ready to welcome petrol heads too. The lobby is decorated with checkered flags and other F1 decals, and the hotel's staff will all be dressed in F1-themed attire, right down to their nails. The hotel bar, which will show a live screening of the race, has also launched a series of F1-inspired drinks.

Said the hotel’s general manager,
"All of our rooms facing the track side have been sold out. We still have some rooms left, but we are clearly seeing a great interest … for this year's F1 for us. Our fellow Singaporeans, our expatriate community staying in Singapore, would like to experience first-hand what a night race is all about."
Guests in the Pacific Club rooms will have an unobstructed close-up view of parts of the race track. They will also receive racing-inspired souvenirs, such as cuff links for the men, a brooch for the ladies and even a dessert modelled after the Singapore Grand Prix circuit.

But the best thing about being in Pan Pacific Singapore is the view of the Singapore Grand Prix circuit. Come Sep 18, the entire area will be lit up and what a spectacular sight it will be!
