Love the idea of Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility? Then you will be fascinated by this idea of an “invisible” train!
Rather a NEARLY “invisible” train that is. This train will debut in Tokyo, Japan in 2018. Designed by Ms Kazuyo Sejima, this train will be a commuter train. It will use semi-reflective and semi-transparent materials for it's structure.
This will allow the train to actually blend into the surroundings that it is traveling through at that time.
This planned route of this train will take it through the mountains of Chichibu and the city of Tokyo.
In honor of Seibu's Group's 100th anniversary, Ms Kazuyo Sejima was commissioned by Seibu Group to design this train. Seibu Railways, which operates train service around Tokyo and Saitama prefectures is owned by Seibu Group.
