Leo, a4 year old toddler from Arnhem Land (a remote region in Northern tip of Australia) was visiting Melbourne, Australia. Apart from the usual excitement, the toddler was fascinated by the vending machine he saw in his hotel lobby. How could he not get excited- after all the machine was filled with delicious goodies!

He had never seen a vending machine before. Leo then assumed that the yummy goodies were for him to take. The next thing you know- he stuck his hand inside a slot in the machine to grab some goodies! This is when disaster struck. He had stuck his hand so far inside that the machine's anti-theft device was activated!
It then trapped his hand inside the vending machine!
Emergency personnel were called for immediately. However, it still took 12 of them to free Leo after 6 long hours!
There were firefighters, police, paramedics and even a locksmith!
They had to work extremely carefully, making sure that Leo was not hurt!
Thankfully, Leo did not suffer any injuries. Instead he now aspires to be a fireman!
