NICE & PEACEFUL
There is a land that is extremely cold and quiet. There are more penguins than people in this place. When temperatures plunge to -40 degrees Celsius in winter, people have to stay indoors for many days. Why do some people still come here to stay and where is it?
It is Antarctica. It has two small towns, one of which is Villa Las Estrellas, located on the northernmost tip of the Antarctic peninsula. Only 64 people live here. This town has a post office, a bank, 10 houses, a mini shopping mall, a gym and a school for the six children who live there. Most of the residents are families of the people who work at the military air base.

"Life here is tranquil, you're not worried about theft, or with traffic," he said. He's also happy that he can be with his children "all day". Salaries for people working in Antarctica can also be a lot higher than back in their home country.
Is Antarctica the place for you?
1. Would you live here if you had the chance to do so?
2. What would you do all day indoors?
3. What would you miss most about your home country if you live in Antarctica?
