Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhour, India was built for Maharaja Umaid Singh between the year 1928 and 1943. Now, part of the palace is run by Taj Group Hotels.
This hotel was recently awarded the Trip Advisor's Travelers' Choice for the World's Best Hotel!
The hotel was situated amid 26 acres of lush gardens. There are a total of 64 rooms and suites.

Reviews and opinions were collected over a one-year period and this is used to create the Travelers' Choice list. According to Julie Cassetine, company spokeswoman, these hotels all have five out of five bubble ratings on Trip Advisor. They provide more than just a bed for travelers.
