Thousands of young athletes arrive in China's Nanjing for the second Youth Olympics.More than 3,700 competitors aged 15 to 18 are expected to participate in the tournament, which started with a glittering opening ceremony in Nanjing city on Saturday, 16th AugustThere are 28 different types of sports that will be played in this Youth Olympics 2014, Nanjing, China.

Golf is coming back after a gap of 110 years and Rugby is making a comeback after 90 years in Olympics! The first Youth Olympics was held in Singapore in 2010. Some of the winners from the first Olympics are also participating in the Youth Olympics 2014 in China. Among the athletes who won medals in the first Youth Olympics, in Singapore in 2010, are swimmers Chad Le Clos and Emma McKeon, and Chinese diver Qiu Bo. China has the biggest participating team, consisting of 123 athletes.
