This story is about a loyal akita dog which was adopted at a young stage by a professer named Ueno.professer ueno kept this dog and named it Hachiko. hachiko would greet professer Ueno at the end of each day at Shibuya station. hachiko would sit eagerly waiting for professer Ueno at a rounded bench just in front of the station while professer Ueno went to a music school and return.
The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925,when professer Ueno did not return.He had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and died,never returning to the train station where Hachiko was waiting. Each day for the next 9 years,9 months and 15 days,Hachiko awaited Ueno's return,appearring pricisely when the train was due at the station. Unfortunately, Hachiko died.
